For this week, the kids have decided to make tornados in a jar!

We used mason jars; other than that, you need three things, four if you want to jazz it up.
3 cups water
1 tsp dish soap
1 tsp vinegar
(optional) glitter
(We also added some food coloring to make colorful tornados.)
Fill up the jar with 3 cups.

Then add the dish soap and vinegar.

Close the lid, and make sure it is on correctly so no water spills.

Lastly swirl the jar. It says for about 5 seconds, then set it down on the table to watch the tornado! (Spinning the water creates a vortex which makes the tornado.)
